Volunteering NTDR is 100% volunteer run and we are always on the look out for volunteers to join our team!
Foster department:
Help us get dogs settled into their foster homes as a part of our foster department. Help review applications, conduct home checks, drop off dogs and supplies to their new foster homes and help match up dogs with foster families .
Airport Drop off:
Can you assist with picking up and dropping off dogs to the airport so they can fly to their rescues?
- We provide a pass for free parking. Simply pick up the dog, meet the passenger, wait for the dog to clear security and that’s it.
Vetting team:
Do you have a history in animal care?
- Assist with preparing clinic & trip supplies, participating in clinics, ensure dogs coming into care receive proper medical treatments and veterinary care before leaving to rescue, work with community contacts to develop a working list of those who want their dogs fixed, help create and organize “Spay & Neuter Clinics”.
Media and Events:
Do you have the gift of the gab? Are you able to network, form new relationships and come up with new and creative ideas? We need you !! Help us come up with fun and interactive ways to promote our rescue.
Supplies Team:
Do you have some room we can use? We are looking to store kennels, food and other supplies at various locations through out the city. Are you able to pick up and drop off supplies as needed? Clean and replenish items? Keep an inventory of items and ensure items are returned?
